As human beings, we tend to see the world in terms of cause and effect equations. In fact, we can map the way most people think about life like this.
As a rule of thumb, we perceive other people or external events to be the causes in our life and our happiness or unhappiness, success or failure as the effect (result). An external event happens in the world and we experience a seemingly ‘automatic’ reaction to it, leading to the ultimate effect in the world.
In this workshop, we dive into the stimuli around us, to understand what is really around us, and how we can have a better awareness of these causes and how we can choose to respond – our reaction to what happens to us.
Do we consistently do what we always do and expect a different result? We explain our ways through life when things happen unexpectedly such as being late for work or forgetfulness – there is always a reason or shall I say a good excuse (he made me angry, the bus didn’t turn up, she upset me…)
Is this how you want your life to be ?
Do you choose to give your power away or are you ready to take back your power ?
To choose what and how you want to respond
